Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notification for the permanent basis residents of Jammu& Kashmir state possessing the posts for Lecturer in Various disciplines Government Medical College, Jammu. The Eligible candidates may apply through online application website www.jkpc.nic.in on or before of the application form 26thMarch 2016 and submission of the application 28^th March 2016.

Important Dates:

Last date for filling if the online application form is 26^th March 2016.

Last date for filling of online application for submission of fee / bank challan is 28 March 2016.

Educational Qualifications:

Anaesthesiology:

M.D/M.S Anaesthesiology / DFACS Specialty board of Anaesthesiology (USA) or equivalent qualification. As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Anatomy:

For Medical Persons: Post graduate degree in Anatomy .M.S.

For Non – Medical persons: PhD in Anatomy. As Registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator/ Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or University .

ENT:

M.S (ENT) / Specialty board of Oto – Rhino – Laryngology (USA) or equivalent qualification. . As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Forensic Medicine:

M.D in (Forensic Medicine) M.D (Pathology) PhD, D.Sc Speciality board pathology (USA) M.RC.path (UK) As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Ophthalmology:

M.S (Ophthalmology/FRCS(Ophthalmology Specialty Board of Ophthalmology (USA) As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Orthopaedics:

M.S (Ortho) M.ch (Ortho)/ Specialty Board of Orthopaedics Surgery (USA) or equivalent qualification. As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Pathology:

Post graduate degree in pathology MD pathology / Path. And bact, PhD, D.Sc Specialty board of pathology (USA) or MRCP, path (UK) As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Surgery:

M.S (General Surgery / Surgery) F.R.C.S.Specialty board of Surgery (USA) or equivalent qualification.inthe subject. As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir.

Age Limit:

The candidates must have age of minimum of 18 years to maximum of 40 years.

The candidates of the category of physically handicapped 42 years.

The category of the candidates RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC 43 years.

The candidates in Govt. Service (in respect of candidate’s already working H&ME department).

The category of Ex- serviceman.

Pay Scale:

The Institute is fixed for the basic pay is Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 5400/-

Selection Mode:

The selection of process is shall be notified separately by the candidates.

Application Fee:

The candidates who are interested may apply the online application. challan will be payable for the candidate. General Category = Rs. 505.00/- Reserved Categories = 255.00/- the total amount of fee payable is 505/- the amount should be deposited in the J&K Bank branch as service charges of the Bank.
