Educational Qualifications:

The prescribed qualification (regular full time course only) from Govt. recognized Indian University/ Institutes only, with 50% marks for General and OBC candidates (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate and the required minimum post qualification experience.

Junior Engineering Assistant–IV (Power & Utilities)

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with must have  Boiler Competency Certificate and  one year post qualification experience in operation/ maintenance of Industrial Boiler/ HRSG/ Thermal Power Station/ DM Plant/ RO Plant/ Air Compressors/ Steam Turbines/ Gas Turbines Cooling Tower/ Air Compressor in Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Heavy Chemical/ Fertilisers/ Power Plants/ Large Industrial Establishment.
• Matriculation pass and ITI in Fitter with Boiler Competency certificate.
• Graduation with Boiler Competency Certificate.

Junior Quality Control Analyst – IV

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum of 50% marks in aggregation (45% marks for SC/ST/PWD categories)
• One year of post qualification experience in handling instruments like HPLC, XRF, WDXRF, GC, ICAP, AAS, Auto Analyzers, Flash Points, etc in a Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Heavy Chemical/ Fertilisers/ Gas Processing Industry/ Power Plants/ Large Industrial Establishments.

Junior Engineering Assistant–IV (Instrumentation)

• Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering with one year of post qualification experience in maintenance of Modern Instrumentation control.
• System like DCS, PLC with electronic field instrumentation, Control Valve, Smart Petitioners, loop configuration, online Analyzers condition monitoring, cabling, and earthling works.

Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Mechanical)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institution and one year of post qualification experience.
• Matriculation with ITI in Fitter Trade from recognized Institution and two years experience for Metric with ITI (Fitter) in maintenance/ overhauling of rotary equipments.

Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Production)

• Diploma in Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering /Graduation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry combination Group subjects.
• One year of post qualification experience in operation (rotating shift) of Pump House, Fired Heater, Compressor, Distillation Column, Reactor, Heat Exchange.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age limit should be not below 18 years and not above 26 years as on 25.02.2016.Upper age of SC/ST-5 years, OBC-3 years & Ex-serviceman would be applicable as per Govt. guidelines.

Pay Scale:

The institute is fixed the basic pay of the candidates Rs. 11900-32000/- in Grade –IV at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bongaligaon Refinery.

No fee for SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/PWD Categories.
