Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from the concerned Faculty recognized by the Kerala Agricultural University.
Masters degree in the relevant subject recognized by the Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum of 50% marks.
NET conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/AICTE or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Bachelor’s Degree from the concerned Faculty recognized by the Kerala Agricultural University. The clause 'concerned faculty' is not insisted in the disciplines of Agricultural Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science & Home Science.
Knowledge in Malayalam language to read and write.
Ph.D. in the relevant subject recognized by the Kerala Agricultural University.
Age Limit:
The candidate must be a citizen of India and shall not be over 40 - 45 year’s age as on 01.01.2016.
The age limit is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC and differently abled as prescribed in the KS&SSR 1958 as amended from time to time.

Pay Scale:
The scale of pay and allowances of Assistant Professor will be as per the Government orders issued in line with UGC norms.
Selection Mode:
The mode of selection, applicable reservation, relaxation of age and all other matters relating to the appointment to the post.
Application Fee:
The candidates application fee is duly filled in application along with the Demand Draft for Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 750/- in the case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/Differently abled), drawn in favour of 'The Comptroller KAU' and payable at SBT, KAU Main Campus, Vellanikkara.

The Eligible candidates may apply offline application format. self-attested copies of testimonials in proof of age, date of birth, community, qualifications, experience etc. should reach to the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, KAU Post, Vellanikkara, Thrissur – 680 656 on or before the last date 31st March 2016.
