Educational Qualifications : Candidates must possess 10th Class pass from recognized Board.
Essential : One year/Two years certificate from Industrial Training Institute/Vocational Institute with one year
experience in respective trade (S.No.1,2,3 posts).
10th Standard pass for Posts of 4-8 posts.
Age Limit : The ITBP Recruitment posts age limit 18-23years for Tailor/Gardner/Cobber Constables & 18-25years for Water Carrier/Safai Karamchri/Washerman/Cook/Barber Constable posts. Age Relaxation of SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen categories.
Pay scale : Selected Constables may get pay Scale Range Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay Rs.2000/-
Selection Process :
- Height bar test
- Race-05 Kms Race to be completed with in 24 minutes for Male Constables & 1.6kms with in 8.30minutes for Female Constables.
- Physically Standard Test (PST)-Screened Height, Chest and Weight measurements.
- Trade Tests
- Written Test –OMR based objective type multiple choice (questions to be answered using a Blue/Black Ball pen).

Medical Examination-Medical Re-Examination Fee of Rs. 25/- in form of Indian Postal Order and Rejection Slip
(original) issued by the Presiding Officer. The IPO should be prepared in the name of Inspector General (Northern) Frontier, ITBP, Seemadwar, Dehradun. - Checking Documents.
Application fees : Non-refundable application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS). CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country.
