Educational Qualifications : Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in any discipline or Diploma in Material Management from recognized University/Institution.
Age Limit : The DPS recommended age limit shall be minimum 18years to maximum 27years for Junior Purchase Assistant/Junior Store Keeper posts.Age Relaxation details given on below..
SC/ST/domiciled in Kashmir Division of the state of J&K during the period from the 1st day of January 1980 to 31st day of December/children/family members of those who died in the 1984 riots – 5years.
OBC – 3years.
PH (UR) – 10years, PH (SC/ST) – 15years & PH (OBC) – 13years
Departmental Candidates with 3years continuous service in the same line or allied cadre up to 40years age Relaxation is applicable & Ex.Serviceman also eligible for Relaxation category.
Pay scale : Selected Junior Purchase Assistant/Assistant Store Keeper receive pay band Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay Rs.2400/-.
