- Matriculation pass and Diploma in Mining /Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority for Mining Foreman posts.
- Matriculation pass and Diploma in Mining Mate Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority for Mining mate Posts.
Experience : One Year experience in Mining Mate/Foreman work.
SAIL recommended age limit must be minimum 18years to maximum 28years as on 01/02/2014.Upper age limit is belonging SC/ST-5years,OBC-3years and also Ex.Serviceman is applicable as per Indian Govt. rules.
NOTE : Medical standards stipulate minimum requirements of Weight: 45 kg; Height: 155 cm; Distant vision: 6/9 both eyes with or without glasses; Near vision: J1 or N6 both eyes; Power of glasses should not exceed ± 2.50.
SAIL Kolkata Mining Foreman & Mates selection will be based on Written Examination and performance Interview.

Probation period : One Year.
Application fee is paid by State Bank of India Challan form and payment slip download from SAIL official online Registration page.
Fee payment in a specially opened Account (No.32469839252) at SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata.
