- Graduation or Post Graduation with 50% marks merit (S.No.3).
- Master Degree in Library or MLI.Sc with 50% marks merit (S.No.4).
- Post Graduation with 55% marks merit and three years experience in Supervisory work (S.No.1).
- Graduation or Post Graduation and Computer application certificate (S.No.2).
- MCA/M.Sc Computer Science or IT from recognized University (S.No.5).
- Bachelor Degree in Law or BLI.Sc with 50% marks merit (S.No.6).
- Graduation pass and Knowledge in computer operations (S.No.7).
- 10+2 pass or Graduation in Computer application/Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Financial Management/Accounts (S.No.8).
- 10+2 pass and Certificate of Library science/Library & Information Science (S.No.9).
- 10+2 pass and ITI in Electrical/Civil/Plumber/Air Conditioning Trades certificate (S.No.10).
Candidates selection shall be based on the performance in the Written Test and Interview.
