Candidates should be possess Intermediate (10+2) pass from recognized by Central/State Government Board.
Essential : Computer Type writing speed 80 words/10min (Dictation) & 80words/65min in English or 80words/50min in Hindi language Transcription time.
Selected Asst.Sub-Inspector get pay Scale Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay 2800/-
Physical Standard :
Height : 162.5cms (Male)/150cms (Female) for ST candidates & 165cms (Male)/155cms (Female) other than ST categories.
Chest : 76cms unexpanded & 5cms Expansion for other categories & 76cms Unexpanded & 5cms Expansion for ST candidates.
Weight : Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.
Age limit must be minimum 18years to maximum 25years as on 22/02/2014.Upper age limit 5years for SC/ST/domiciled in the State of J&K during the period from 1st January, 1980 to 31st December, 1989/riots of 1984 & riots of 2002 in Gujarat, 3years for OBC & Central Govt. Servants up to 40years is applicable as per Govt. Order.
Selection process deepening on two phases
1.Scrutiny/checking of certificates/documents, Physical Measurement , Written examination methods.
2.Skill test (Stenography/short hand test), Interview, Medical Examination (Medical tests (X-Ray and laboratory) Methods.
