Applicants must have to complete SSC/HSC pass for S.No.1-6,8,9,10,15-18 posts & Certificate of competency (License to act as Engineer) issued by Maharashtra Maritime Board/Mercantile Marine Dept. as per Indian Vessel Act. Knowledge of Swimming for S.No.7 posts & VIII std and the National Apprenticeship Certificate for S.No.11-14 posts.
Experience : Applicants have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the Trade of ‘Draughtsman’ in Mechanical Stream conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India for S.No.1, D. Pharm. / B. Pharrm. from any Govt.recognized University for S.No.2, Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering for S.No.3-6 posts, National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of Pipe Fitter for S.No.8 & One years work experience in worked in Shipbuilding industry as Chipper Grinder for S.No.18 posts.
Applicants age limit must be between 18-33years as on 10/9/2013.Upper Age limit Five years for SC/ST/contract basis in MDL candidates, OBC/EX.SM- Three years & PWD/PH-Ten years is applicable as per Govt.rules.
Applicants have to pay application fee Rs.100/- and No fee will be charged from SC, ST , PWD & Ex-servicemen categories, payment made will be drawn in the form of Bank Demand Draft in favor of Mazagon Dock Limited (Payable in Mumbai).
Applicants selection process will be on basis of Interview/Trade test (same date of an Interview).
